Welcome

Welcome to the web site of Grimsby and Louth Advanced Motorists (GLAM). We are your local group affiliated to the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM). The group is one of over 200 groups across the United Kingdom dedicated to raising the standards of driving in their local areas and improving road safety in general.

GLAM currently has over 75 members who are kept informed of group activities via a quarterly newsletter. All our observers are volunteers who give up some of their free time to guide associates who come onto our courses towards passing the IAM Advanced Driving test. The Observers are further trained and retested regularly by the group to qualify and to maintain their standards.
